The Douglas



Riverstone was in need of a distinct name and identity for a new development bordering LoDo and the up-and-coming RiNo neighborhood surrounding downtown Denver. After connecting with Peak Creative, we embarked on a journey to find a name that conveyed a sense of neighborhood history and distinction, while also resonating with the targeted audience and future tenants.

The logo concept comes from the radial elements and shapes of a Douglas fir pine cone, and is a nod to the architectural team that envisioned the property as a multilayered gem—highlighted by a resort-like center pool and outdoor lounge.
